The new Nikon AW120 is perfect for capturing shots of everyday life as well as the thrills of your holidays. With the bright lens that gives you clear, blur-free images in any situation including underwater, and the tough exterior that can withstand harsh weather conditions; this camera is made to be adventurous.
Waterproof to a depth of almost 18m and shockproof to survive a 2m drop, the Nikon AW120 is built to withstand the elements. In addition to being dust-proof, the camera is also cold resistant up to -10°c, so there’s nowhere the Nikon AW120 can’t go.
From underwater shots to night landscapes or dimly-lit environments, the wide-angle f/2.8 NIKKOR lens captures the ideal amount of light for a great picture. With a 5x optical zoom (covering 24mm to 120mm equivalent in 35mm format), and a Dynamic Fine Zoom* (approximately 240mm equivalent in 35mm format), it gives you the flexibility to capture faraway objects. The macro shooting mode also allows you to go as close as 1cm to get vivid colours and crisp details in your shots.
* Dynamic Fine Zoom refers to the areas in which the camera can zoom while maintaining resolution from the maximum optical telephoto zoom position.
The Nikon AW120 comes with built-in GPS, an electronic compass and a world map so you can lose yourself in what you’re doing without losing your way. The GPS also lets you log in the altitude/water depth and keep track of it at regular intervals.
The built-in Wi-Fi® allows sharing moments instantly with your loved ones. Using the Wireless Mobile Utility App (available for download at the App Store and Google Play), you can turn your smart phone to a remote shooting device, so you can be in the picture, with the vastness of nature as the perfect backdrop.
The bright f/2.8 lens with 24 mm* wide-angle, together with the Backside illumination CMOS image sensor, captures quality images in the dark. Bring your subject closer to you with the NIKKOR optical 5x zoom lens, and to capture far distant subjects rely on 10x** Dynamic Fine Zoom with a combination of lens-shift and electronic VR (Vibration Reduction) for stable images even when zoomed in — great whether you’re out to sea or in the city.

Highly efficient Charging AC Adapter and improvements in the camera’s charging system contribute to a major reduction in the time it takes to charge the battery.
Working in concert to deliver high-quality images even when it’s dark are the Backside illumination CMOS image sensor, NIKKOR lens, and the EXPEED C2 image-processing system.
